How about a boulder like this:
the one when Indy is running out of the cave
and the round boulder rolls after him at the beginning of the movie?

I don't know how to add the image to this post.
Can someone help me?

I have a jpeg of what I'm looking for.

B4 made an excellent tumbling rock that I will be using too.

You need to upload the image to a website then read this page to see how to add it to a post

Thanks very much Malone. I will bookmark that info.

This is the other type of boulder I would like as a plugin.

do you want it straight on

or at a slight angle ?

Thanks B4.
If you would, I would like a rock like this too.

The other previous style is also very cool.
I will definately use it.

So, if I can get a rock like this in hi res rolling towards
the camera and a side view I would be greatful x2.

I just didn't want the boulder to look like a ball.
But rather a sphere with imperfections like a rock.

oh, ok

i'm working on it now.

have you got a scene in mind. as it would be very hard to mask a person out from the boulder

did you want a shadow with it.

i think you could add one with a round shadow plugin

let me know

Cool B4.

I will be greenscreening.

Don't worry about shadows too much.

I would like the lightsource to be at the top or little off
the center, of the rock.

Bascially the scene I have in mind is simple.
my son will be running towards the camera, from the rock.
The rock will be tumbling behind him.

The side view will reflect the same but from the side.

i've tried it with the jpg texture you asked for, but it comes out too round ( just the texture is coloured )
http://www.geekshelf.com/gallery/lincon/stargate1/greyball_0001.jpg
the ones above i used a MAT. which give the look of thing sticking out slightly.

are any of the above ok ? ( texture wise ) ( not shape or color)

My pick is number three.

http://www.geekshelf.com/gallery/lincon/stargate1/greyball_0001.jpg

But feel free to do all three!

Or upload the greyball one and FTP the others to me...

Do you have any mythology type statues by the way?
