Heya all you crazy crazy plugin makers.

I will desperately need a wicked portal. I have noticed the lack of them in the plug-in section. I really need one that opens to a large size and then closes after a few people have jumped through.

Please can someone help me?

Billy? I call on your talent! HELP ME SOMEONE!

smile +'s for someone who answers the cry!

Perhaps you could specify what kind of portal you require, er-no, and we'll see what we can do biggrin I only have the vaguest impression of what a portal should look like, so a screenshot or description would be helpful.

Cool, I know someone who has some fantastic images of portals so I can submit them later as soon as he gets online!

Inside the portal on one of them I need a kinda sand/dessert image? If you can 'personally' create that for me I will myself marry you.

wink razz Get back to you with images later smile

Err, in that case, I think I'll leave this to Billy. I'm not the marrying type lol

Ok, Billy or Ada! I really would love this image within the portal as if this is the location the portal is opened up from.... Can you help? Blue is a good colour for the portal? And I can obviously make it grow larger and smaller as if it was opening and closing?

Ada.. can you make a longer version of your Stargate one? Four seconds isn't really the longest time...

I'm uploading my attempt right now. It's a no-frills sort of portal (featuring the image you specified), with a thin black halo encircling it.

lol Yo, Er-no, did you find the portal useful? What I'd suggest is to overlay a luminescent effect over the portal so as to add some sort of energy 'pulse'. If I could, I would've added a ripple effect... hmm, maybe I'll have a go at that sometime in the future biggrin
