ALright. Not plugins, but you can turn them into plugins. All these are REAL explosions. Not CG explosions. The full program is $600.00, but you can watch 20 of the explosions in the single explosion page, and buy single ones. Here is the link:

http://www.eyewire.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/View.woa/wa/viewProduct?product=171742

Ya like it? I aint turning any of these into plugins myself (im too lazy and it doesnt workwell FOR ME) but you can. Some explosions that are samples have the EyeWire logo over it, other dont. Get the ones that dont. Bye.

These previews do not look like 2x2 squares to me. They look like .mov files of explosions.. 20 of 'em too...

But what do you mean "2 by 2 squares"?

P.S. You can always use something like Videomach to change teh size of a movie/image. AlamDV can do that too!

I'll buy it.
Then we'll all have some whoop-ass explosions.

You'll all have to help me find some web space that I can then upload them too after I've gotten it.

you casually purchase this pack of explosions like it's no big deal.

(My impression of you):

$600? *yawn* I'll buy it. No biggie. I might as well buy a hummer off of e-bay while I'm at it..

wink

One thing though. If you haven't already bought it, DON'T BUY IT!

DarkJedi hasn't done his homework.

THE EXPLOSIONS LOOK NIFTY BUT THEY ALL GO OUT OF THE FRAME. That severlely limits their use as plug-ins, or anything else for that matter. I'm sure it'd be easier to find the Pyromania collection off of Kazaa (I've heard some good things about that explosion compilation).

ya know, now that I really look at them, Sidey's right. a couple of 'em do stay in frame pretty good, but all the really impressive ones would exit the quad.

or I wonder if they just crop them to preview on the webpage. . . I'll have to call them and find out for sure.

but on the other hand, a lot of the explosion plugins we have now also exit the quad, so I'm not sure how these would differ.

BUY IT!!

Hey it's not my money!

Tons of them would make nice explosions. So what if a few of them go off screen? They'd still work for huge explosions! It'd be a nice addition to the plugin section. Technically it'd be legal put these up because you aren't selling them for money!!

I think . . .

Meh

THIS ONE IS F@#$%@# SWEET

You know, I think those explosions from darkJedi look better, but I hope they all don't go off screen.

I doubt they'll go offscreen: they probably cropped the images to keep the preview filesizes small, as Bob Page said smile Exciting stuff!

I'll probably be the one to buy it, but I want to make sure it's not a waste of money, first. I'll have some time monday afternoon to contact the good people at eyewire to find out what's up with those explosions.

I'll keep you all posted. . .
