Hi,

I know that Alam DV 2.5 is coming out soon, and obviously version 3 soon thereafter. Now, I'm planning to purchase Alam DV today, but i wanna know if its:
1) possible to upgrade easily to other versions
2) is their a cost for the upgrade
3) when is version 3 coming out

Thank you.

version 3 isn't even being planned yet so not many problems to worry about there. At the moment, upgrade to any version 2.XXX is completely free so don't worry, and upgrading as easily as the first installation. biggrin i got help:D i got help:D i got help:D i got help

Why would AlamDV3 come soon after AlamDV2.5? There was over a year between Photoshop 6.5 and Photoshop 7. Any 2.X upgrade is free but the next version if and when we do it would be a cost upgrade.

AlamDV2.xx is our main product. Any possible replacement will be a long time coming.

After AlamDV2.5, our priorities are Chromanator and DigiGrade. Our schedules are most definitely full. smile

Thank you very much for the replies.

I am almost sure I want to buy this program. One last thing, I'm going to be moving (houses) soon, and I wont have hi-speed internet. How will I go about getting the plugins? (From the other post, it doesnt seem to be happening)

Most plugins are fairly small. It's unusual that you'd want all the plugins - usually you'd just download the specific ones that you want to use, in which case a low-speed 'net connection would be ok.
