Probably not a lot of Star Trek fans out there, so I am prepared to be stoned to death for even asking - but i'd like to see some multiple angle stills or possibly even animated photos of some Star Trek spacecraft. USS Voyager, Borg ships, USS Enterprise D or E, just something to give the space battle scenes a bit more flair.

Well then, numbers aside - are there any out there who can actually make it?

do u basically want to make a space battle between star trek ships?

If so why don't u use a 3d program, u can download plenty of 3d starship

pm kram1563 as he knows where to download them but try this

http://trekmeshes.starfleet.ch/

of course u'd also need software to do this.

But have u checked the plug-in section http://www.csb-digital.com/alamdv/plugins/index.php under star trek i think there is two ships already there created by kermZ

I don't really have the software that would be needed for that, and I think it would be more interesting to try to make the battle in AlamDV...

I can make some plugins (when I get time) but have to agree from making most of the 3D aircraft plugins that it is always hard to get the angles that everyone wants - hence doing it totally in a 3D app is better.

However not everyone can fford a 3D app not understand producing a movie with it so I am happy to try and m ake some time to do the plug ins .. what specifically.

I lack the 3d apps, but if someone who has the means to do so, provide me stills from the 3d app, and I will make the plug-in smile . I made the Enterprise A plug-in...

I am surprised there arent many plug-ins for Star Trek...

The advantage of 3D is, say a ship is supposed to go from the left to the right, at first when it's at the left, you see a bit of the front, but by the time it's at the right, you see a bit of the back. With Alam, it just looks like a picture moving across the screen.

Maybe someone could make a 3d plugin of a ship going across the screen, and turning a little, making it look a little bit better.
