I was thinking.......one of the main problems with most of the movies is that the plugins stand out too much. How about some plugins of basic colours (foggy blue, grassy green ect) are made into plugins, and given a transparency slider. Then they are put over all the plugins in the shot (colour matching back ground colour), and when rendered, the parts that are not on the plugin are removed. It'd B like colour correction in all the main compositing software packages.

Couldn't you just use the chroma colors and mess with them and masks?

Good idea but I think that would be way to complicated to do...

You'll be surprised how much AlamDV2 has changed - its not an update, its 100% new code really. We are just calling it 2.5 so you don't have to pay again smile

That's the most incredible news I've heard so far on Alamdv 2.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!! biggrin biggrin I just want to know, will the Alamdv2 plugins be 100% compatable with the new code? It would be a shame to lose the effects we have now. wink

CoolKabe has a point.

eg: red lightning plugin had a transparencey slider on a older version on of alamdv but not on the newer version.

( happened with a few plugins )

Come on, when are we going to get a peak at thing's to come, there has been nothing posted from the team in week's and where has that thread about 2.5 gone anyway that was promised?

2.5 teaser trailer sound's cool and the all 100% new code as well.

Hope that the Plug's will be compatable as well.

But stop teasing us like lap dancer's and give us a better peak at what you have got razz lol
