Hi i have had a good idea for a small film, its a paranormal film, what i would need for some bits of it, would be a ghostly figure walking, now it would be cool if perhaps somebody here could do, say a totally black shpae of someone walking, but with a transparent slider so that it can be used for a type of spectre/shadow, the type of thing i am thinking of would be like the zombie plug-in by b4 but just black, if anyone could do this i would be really greatful.

I don't know how to do transparent, maybe someone could put some light on this for us and then we could also start doing transparent plug's as well.

Anyone out there want to do a break down of:

HOW TO DO TRANSPARENT PLUG'S?

Would benefit me in the long run and many other's.

You need alpha channels. If your plug-in images have alpha channels, the transparency slider will automatically be created in the plug-in. Without an alpha channel, you cannot get adjustable transparency.

One of the stickies at the top of the Plug-ins forum is all about creating alpha channels. Here is the link: http://www.csb-digital.com/alamdv/community/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3082
