Next week will be an exciting one for everyone, as we will be releasing the first real details about our new product range. We had initially hoped to get out a few screenshots around Christmas, but we decided to wait until we could show you a little more.

This sneak peek will not be just a smattering of screenshots, however - it will be a fully-fledged video tour of some of Chromanator's functionality and the all-new AlamDV2.5 timeline, as well as offering a glimpse of how we work here at CSB.

For those that do not know about our forthcoming programs, Chromanator is a compositing and bluescreening package, DigiGrade is a grading and colour correction tool and AlamDV2.5 (free to everyone who already owns AlamDV2) is a major upgrade offering more features and a faster interface.

This next generation of CSB-Digital products are the biggest challenge we have yet faced, determined as we are to deliver the best possible results. We are a very small company that is making some very big programs, and we are really stretching our resources to the limit, hence the lack of a firm release date (other than 'real soon now').

Needless to say, when Chromanator, DigiGrade and AlamDV2.5 do arrive, they will have been well worth the wait. smile

There will be a couple more of these little videos in future weeks to get you up to speed with most of the new functions - we won't show you a couple of the special functions, we'll keep them as a surprise at the end wink

That's cool...
Take your time and do it right.

No sense in rushing out the software
if it's going to be "buggy"

( I just wish I knew how much money I need
to buy the programs... )

What would you think of adding 3 more icons to the list? We could have "AlamDV", "DigiGrade", and "Chromonator" icons so that people would know who is experienced in what area, and just to show off you bought the programs! biggrin Sound do-able?

Your programs are way to buggy on a mac to many freezes not robust enough. You need to have more tutorial videos on your site. I wont be purchasing anything till you release alamdv for OS X..........
If you are not creating something for os x then its obvious CBS does not want to make their users happy. If something is good you tell a few people if something is buggy you tell 10 people or more.

Bah! You caught them in the middle of their master plan mad You see, your totally right. CSB DOESN'T want to make their users happy. So by making Alam on virtually everything else, they are banking on OSX dominating the industry and becoming a monopoly, therefore creating a society where NO ONE IS HAPPY!. But it looks like you busted our nugget. oink

Er, Watchman, I suggest you watch a little more closely.

We are currently in the process of making AlamDV fully OS X compliant, and all our forthcoming programs have been designed with OS X in mind.

I think everyone on this forum will agree that one of our main most priorities is to make our users happy. After all, they do influence the very development of our programs.

Welcome to the forum, EchoExousia. If you don't mind me asking, what's the origin of that name? It's an unusual one.

Hi

I just bought your super cool software, glad to see the upgrade will be free for us AlamDV owners.

I am real happy with it but I still feel I am not getting all the power out of it as it is in MacOS 9 Classic mode...

I wish so badly that I can use it natively under OS X, as it kinda feels like it is having some trouble playing the movies...

I have enough RAM (1GBs) and MHz 1GHz also 80GBs of HD... With the newest of new versions of Jaguar OS X...

Please let me know how it is better in speed etc, and what improvements it has in the Mac area...

Thanks for such a wonderful software!!!

eek I have my eyes pealed for the PEAK of the year!!! ALAMDV 2.5!!

PS. When I export in QT 6.1 I get in the end result black empty frames or gray ones. Sometimes it even has a freeeeeeze in the picture!!! Now I am not working with 30 min clip. I dare say it is less then a minute. How the heck can this be? I mean is it this weak???? If so then it is not worth the money as I am not able to use this software since I bought it 2 days ago... I hope this wasn't a waste of money... I really love the idea you can do all these cool stuff, but I can't even make a 17 sec clip look good. It looks terrible... These shots I have from my DV camera are all in Pal. Exporting is done to DV Pal also...

Any ideas?

Pps. Sorry I have no idea where my reply goes... Hope it gets to Tarn or some one who can help...
