Hi.... I was wondering if some one could make a plug-in that i could add over top of a regular house hall... like a "star trek type red alert bar" and "star trek type doors".

the red alert bar would just be a small bar and the corridor would basically just be a corridor (door)

here are some pictures (@ http://drew.centralchat.net/plugin/default.htm ) ... it would be good if it could be from voyager. (voyager type)

Thanks, Drew

did you want opening doors, or do you just want pictures of doors to place over the walls as background?

And the red alert bar-- would that just be a long rectangular flashing red light?

Yea, just a cordidor that i can put in the background (and use masking if some one walks over it)

As for the redalert bars... well see the images i included (i am talking about just the one redalert bar, not the ones at the top)... it would be good to have one not blinking, and one that does blink

Thanks! THANKS!

Well the alert bar shouldn't be too hard, I'll get to work on it soon.

As for the hallways, there are a couple of ways to go about that. The first is for me to design some in the style of Star Trek; the advantage of this is that it could be used by anyone for anything without copyright issues coming up, but the disadvantage is that it is harder, and that it is not actually the enterprise. The second is to find images of the Enterprise hallways, or use larger versions of those pictures you posted and make a plug-in from those.

Ok Great.

It would be good if they could be star trek voyager style doors.

I will try and find some high-quality ones.

Maybe some one could make the doors in a 3D program or try and copy it i dunno.

Thanks for your help!

Well I started working on the Alert Bar, and it is proving to be more difficult than I first anticipated. I have worked up three versions so far, none of them to my liking. I'm having trouble getting it to look real.

When I get something good, I'll let you know.

Well, to be perfectly honest, not that great. I've been real busy the last few days and have not even had a chance to look at it. Just as a suggestion, you might try using the GlowLaser plug-in for the alert bars.

http://www.csb-digital.com/alamdv/plugins/index.php

Mess around with the glow a bit and see if you can get anything that will work for you. I'll keep trying, but I anticipate being busy for quite a while, and it might be weeks before I can get you anything; I just don't know at this point.

Sorry, I'll try to get it done as soon as I can.
