The current snow overlay kicks ass.........with one exception, it is too small. If I stretch it it looks poor and if I put multiple overlays to cover the entire frame, the snow looks good but you can see the quad lines.

Can anyone make a snow overlay that covers a full 720 x 480 frame? Basically, everything exactly like the original but wider coverage. I'd be much appreciative. Thanks, -Shon

I will do that right now for you Shon Cobbs.

Will get back to you as soon as it's done and up on the site.

I can only do 720 x 540.

Rendering your snow as we speak. It'll be 10 seconds long, and probably non-loopable (but what single shot are you going to need that's 10+ seconds long?) I'm working on different variations like straight down and fast, or windy, and slow, stuff like that. Should be up tonight or tommorow.

The bummer is that I have no access to putting up a pic.

I can tell you that it has 155, loopable and is coming directly down.
The res is 720x540 and look's really nice - as I have done a test over a AVI file of mine, work's a treat.

Will be nice to see different var's on this, was a thought of mine, but I thought I would knock this out before hitting the sack.

Look forward to the wind var.

Hajiku_Flip, did you know that there was only one snow fall effect on the site, until we came along?

Can wait to see what you have done.

Cheer's for the +1, that's the 1st I have ever got for doing a request, nice1 and hope people are like you in the future.

Anything else give me a shout - But you have until the end of this week for any request, as my new baby son is over due and we are going to the hospital this friday to have him made to come out lol .

So I will be on and off of here + the PC for about a good month before hitting the plug's again - (I am going to need Hajiku_Flip addiction center before then and have got my bag's pack ready to be taken away, when does the bus leave Hajiku_Flip?).

Let me know about any request's, but nothing to big, as the time is ticking.

Cheer's again for the +1 wink

Why don't you guys make it loopable so then you can have a smaller file size which means less trouble for everyone? (except you)

Looping these kinds of plugins is NOT hard at all dude!

Mine is only a megabite long, and still almost 10 seconds. I did it with HVE Emitters and such, and I'm still not sure how to loop it with HVEs. If you wanna make your own, feel free to do it. wink

I made the original and I tried for hours to get it loopable but it would never look right.

I have had people PM asking for an improved one but, I have been SOO busy! Thanks guys for making a new one, you have saved me some trouble.
