If you are reading this, then the chances are good that you are very familiar with the AlamDV2 website. As chief ruling Overlord and high priest combined of all the CSB-Digital websites, the enigmatic Malone is a webmaster to be reckoned with. His formidable powers may sometimes disguise the fact that he is, in fact, just a man - a man called Toby Walsh.

Operating from deep within his lair in the northern wilds of England, Malone supervises every facet of the AlamDV.com website, from new plugins and movies to the forum and the main infrastructure. Despite not being based at the main CSB HQ in Norwich, Malone is easily able to function as part of the team using the communication powers of the internet. Here at CSB the internet is not just a marketing tool, it is an integral part of our products and services as well as our day-to-day company operations.

Malone has been part of the core CSB team from the beginning, having known Joshua 'Schwar' Davies for many years prior to the creation of the company. After they both graduated from the University of East Anglia, CSB-Digital was created and AlamDV1 was launched. The website grew and changed over the months, expanding as AlamDV's popularity increased. Fresh out of university, it was a great responsibility to be the man in charge of such a major website. Malone rose to the challenge, improving and adding to the website's features. Some of you may even remember the time before Force points and before there were nearly 900 special effects plugins available to download - integral things that we now almost take for granted.

Time moves on and now, nearly two years later, CSB is on the verge of releasing its new product line. Accompanying Chromanator, DigiGrade and the big upgrade to AlamDV will be an entirely redesigned website, crafted to focus the three programs into a single combined community for special effects enthusiasts.

Although too busy working on the new websites and eating cake to be interviewed for this Spotlight, Malone did promise a full interview later in the year. With its imminent arrival, we all hope that Malone's next incarnation of the AlamDV.com website will excite you as much as it does us, bringing in the new age of CSB.

I like to call him Malone Server Overlord of DOOOOM!

No really, Malone isn't only a photogenic face wink . He really is a top guy and the most skilled programmer I know. He always seems to have answers for the computer problems we get. Not only does he do a great job designing the website but he also runs all the backend of putting your movies up, sales, serials, plug-ins, the forum and all the other databases we have running 24/7. On top of this he keeps all the internal CSB systems (ftp, chat, email and web space) running and is constantly thinking up new ideas and problem solving. CRAZY!

If it wasn't for Malone there really would be no CSB-Digital. Back in the early days of AlamDV1 Malone, Xcession and I all worked really hard for no money at all - you won't find many guys with that commitment. Then when we had to work 120+ hour weeks to get AlamDV2 out Malone was always there putting in the hours and getting the work done.

The man is a class act - pure and simple.

Respect is due.

I think malone lives in his own little world with prancing ponyes and a bunch of funny little creatures. He dances like a ballerina eating the never ending sweets his world contains and hacking into peoples servers and putting fxhome banners everywhere. Must be great (M)alone wink .
