TS prezents ZOMBIE DOOMSDAY 2 / Special Effects Testing Four, in Supermarionation

What would YOU do if zombies attacked?

There once was a zombie named Sam,
who thouroughly enjoyed eating ham,
then Niko came out,
with the loudest of shouts,
and his shotgun expelled a loud BAM.

Hosted by the Magical Cypher and his Scope-Entertainment.com empire, including his cronies.

And it's only 60 seconds long! Go HERE (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/) if you don't know what an . MP4 is.

Having missed out on the excellent 'Zombie attack day' number one, I can honestly say I did not understand a word of the dialogue in this, the sequel. Perhaps it was the bombardment of confusing sub-plots, or perhaps it was simply my lack of imagination, but it certainly seemed to me that the zombies all looked identical, and while I understand breaking conventions is all the rage with farmers / movie makers and the ilk these days, is it really neccessary to arm a zombie (an already undefeatable killing machine) with a shotgun? Is this not just begging for trouble at the table of chaos? I think you are treading on thin ice here ladds, and beneath the ice is an evil I dare not speak of, although I will say this: He does not tollerate green blooded citizens. This my friends, is why you only accomplished the two manouver. I dont think I need to go on. (OR DO I?)

*looks for the agreeing smiley*

Its like another language, and at moments you think you have got it, and then you lose it. Spend some time with it and its easy to deconstruct though.... I think. biggrin

that reminds me of a sort of BS called "Double Talk". I have a relative in the service that always does it. I wonder if it is some offical sort of counter interigation(sp?). Where one says a lot of nothing which leaves the listeners confused and wondering if they are infact to feeble to grasp it real meaning. And usually sounds very techical and well informed.

crazy

All in all the post was very amusing. thus my +1 for funny and not terminating its life for being off topic twisted

To the dudes that made this film.... I got some advice... I can see you use firecrackers for the bloodFX, just one last thing, try to use tight clothes, shirts T-shirts etc, the explosion will work far better, and actually make a large hole! biggrin

And unless you wanna make the laugh effect(witch you did lol ) try and use ear-plugs so you don't have to use fingers biggrin

----------------------------------------------------------
But I'll tell you(and to others using this FX), forget earplugs, and your toast, I did, and I'm happy still to have my ability to hear!

I'd recommend some more red and blue food coloring in your stage blood mixture, unless these particular zombies were supposed to have green blood. also the padding is quite evident under the shirt. I can recommend a compressed air techinique for squibs that is much safer and better looking if you're interested.

Brent
