It would seem much more realistic if the Magazine could be dropped out of the gun. So that you could reload. i am just requesting a plugin of a Magazine falling out of a small handgun.
Thanks

why dont you use the magazune from your airgun it is MORE REALISTIC, dont use toy guns , if you can, try using airguns, toy guns are too plasticy and dont look real, just wanted to let you know that real clips look better than an animated clip. biggrin

WHOA!!!
for a second there, I was thinking magazine, as in Newsweek or Time, not magazine as in clip, or ammo

that was providing for some interesting mental pictures. . . .

Hey every one! Look at him! He's just a kid!

Ha!

C'mon, you can create that effect without alamdv. Be creative.

No, you are the moron. Take a frikken picture of a black rectangle, and have it fall out of your lego gun.

Or, zoom in on the gun, and use something small and black.

CAN YOU PUT ANY EFFORT INTO THIS? I don't care if alamdv is easier.

IndyAnimation, just because alamdv is easier, doesn't always mean it's quicker. you could bust this effect out in premiere in less than ten minutes, instead of waiting for someone to make this effect in alamdv.

Let me repeat this:

Do it in REAL LIFE.

C'mon, it's a lego movie. Improvise.

okay. I don't see how you couldn't use a small black piece of electrical tape or cardoard for this.

well i cant do that unless i bluescreen and that would take much, much longer than using alam, because i have nothing to attach it to,to fall with.
I want to to fall like it does in the Assassin Chronicles - Rebirth, and i cant do that unless i have alam dv...and that plugin could also be used for a action movie that is live and not stop mo...

Here's what I'd recommend:

Download plugger, and make a plug-in that consists of a black frame. You could make it easily in Microsoft paint, just make the whole picture black. In alamdv, squash that frame so it's rectangle shaped, and have it fall out of the gun.

What editing suite do you use? I assume you USE an editing suite... I agree with everyone else. It's just plain ridiculous for someone to make a plugin for a magazine falling out of a lego gun, when I can count the times ANYONE will use it on one finger. I can imagine someone asking for a matrix ripple effect, because everyone wants that, and it takes quite some time to figure out and pull off elsewhere, but something as simple as you're asking is ludicrous.

If you don't want it to look cheesy, don't do it. It's a damn lego movie. What do you mean live filming? You're doing the same thing in a live action movie? So why can't you buy a cheap airgun with a clip and have it fall out in the live one?
