The only games I have ever played were Diablo I, Diablo II, and Asheron's Call... all MMORPGs

They are the best, but quite addictive...I was #1 on hardcore ladded in Diablo II for awhile...hence why I name myself El-Diablo in all games smile

ah, I just ask because there was a character named El Diablo in the game Freedom Force., a buddy of mine really digs that game, which is what made me think of that reference

Is freedom force the game where the bad guys got radiated and so did the good guys...and they fight eachother...like superheroes?
I think I saw a review in MacAddict...

yeah, that's the one!
the thing I thought was neat about it was that you could make your own hero characters, too. Naturally, I made an 'IceMan' hero, which kicks total butt, of course.
the game is told in a 1960's comic book style, which in itself, is quite humourous. but the whole of the game is just fun, which games seem to be neglecting now-a-days. It seems that all game makers focus on is heavy storyline and character issues, making them seem like interactive soap operas to me.

A good video game should have good graphics, and rockin' gameplay! who gives a rat's behind if it's got a STORY or not. . . .
I'd say my favorite games of all are Seriuos Sam and Seriuos Sam the Second Encounter, because they don't care about an in-depth story with hours of cutscenes and backstory that you need to get through, you just play! TONS of bad guys, awesome weaponry, and some funny commentary. that's what the game is all about!

anyway, that's just my 2 cents worth. . .

well, maybe a little more than 2 cents, but you get the idea smile

I'm really looking forward to star wars glaxies(essentially an everquest mod marketed under a different name) which sopposedly has 3 worlds each the size of everquest's. But I think my favorite games are pretty straight forward: Starcraft, warcraft II, III, GTA III, Vice city. Being a mac owner(w/PS2) the blizzard games are the best that I have access to on my computer.
