The hapless Lt. Jenkins can't seem to resist temptation.

Didn't have so much of a story..
To bad the keeying wasn't better, it would be more realism in it then..

Good work thought. smile

Andreas,

Yeah, I agree with you about the keying. I had my talent standing way too close to my bluescreen. I tried to fix it in post but gave up...was taking too long. I have found the bluescreen process both fun and maddening at the same time.

Kram1563,

Thanks for the comments. My Alam effects looked smooth on my Premiere timeline but after I compressed the movie for upload they appeared a little jumpy, if that is what you meant.

Lord Dugall,

Thanks for your comments. We were worried that the joke might be just a little to subtle so it was nice to read that it hit home with you.

Blaine,

Thanks for the comments. It was fun to make, but by the time I finished it I could barely look at it anymore. Do you feel that way with your projects?

The bluescreening didn't look bad to me, at all. If you're having trouble with it, though, you might want to think about going with a greenscreen, instead, since green is much easier to key out. Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny. Nice job.

smile I liked this movie. I liked the parts showing the gut just sitting, drinking
coffee and listening to classical music.

I also thought it was funny that the other guy just couldn't resist shooting an asteroid.

Good bluescreening and effects

Good job

I appreciate your comments. The humour was intentionally meant to be somewhat subtle, so it was nice to read that you picked up on it. I love the original series Trek and hope to do more fanfilms for it in the future.
