Hey, so that's what a plot is! I really need to find one of those
Not taking into account that I read the script and executive produced (doesn't that just sound nice? ) this, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. My only complaint was that in bits the sound was a bit muffled and not articulated(sp), but that's a small little con in an otherwise great short film.
I look forward to sfbmovie making more films for us, and await the script for Dream Girl! Keep em coming, Josh!

I had a lot of sound problems with this one. Did anyone else have a problem with non-synced audio? I just thought it'd been overdubbed badly or someone used a minidisc and didn't sync it up properly.
Mind you, a lot of the sound was bass heavy and in many places, distorted. Quite disappointing as it made the whole thing hard to watch.

Well, not bad at all.
The end was quite abrupt, but the movie was pretty good nonetheless - there weren't any really awkward scenes -
The guns sounds were pretty iffy~~~ and the lady yelling no no no at the beginning was humorous because she obviously can't act . . .
It's nice to see a well done movie.

Wow, I'm surprised this movie didn't get more attention! I for one was very hyped up. Unfortunatly I missed the premiere, it was during my 2 months hiatus, but I'm back now and working on catching up.
I thought overall this was a great fan film. Drama is the hardest genre to film, as it takes alot of knowledge in cinematography, framing, and a great screenplay. Most people here depend on special effects to float their movie through, which sorry to say, will not get you ahead in the business. I thought the script had all the dynamics of a good drama. Twists, turns, uppers, downers, screamers, and all the good stuff that creates a good story.
I especially liked when the guy ended up shooting the girl in the head, did not see that coming!
My only complaints have to do with a few awkward camera angles and lack of mic's (which is perfectly understandable, mic's cost alot of money). I'd like to see a sequel, or at least an extended version! Good job

This movie recieved an 18+ movie rating, while a movie like DXM with much more violence recieved a PG rating..Any explanation? Just curious, because the rating could distract viewers from watching my movie.

well I'll start by saying that this film was decent. Only due to the fact that the filming was just a bit sloppy. It felt a little like watching a home video of a 6 year old B-day with action and suspense.
But upsides to this film is for one the acting. Although it could have been alot better if the sound was tweeked a little. At first I was thinking this was going to be a straight up action film. So at first I was getting pissed. But then I saw that in was a drama too so I calmed myself down some. Either way It was pretty damn good. I must say that after watching OPENDAY I have had a small fear of falling asleep during other peoples movies. But I am safe to say that it hasn't happened since then.
You movie was good. Just work a bit on touching it up more next time.!

Hey Cy, you think I could send you like a dvd or something of this so we could up the quality? Cuz on my PC I just haven't been able to work with it at all. My premiere messes up when I try to use mp4 and it just sucks!

Ya, you could send a dvd version to me, and maybe just rework it a bit for a special edition-ish version.
Actually, what would be MUCH easier would be if it were on miniDV, that was make the whole process much faster on my end. Talk to me online.

Well I said I'd get round to watching it and I keep true to my word. Granted I'm a little late but I have watched it.
Probably the most dialogue heavy film on the site which was a pleasant change. The acting was acceptable, even though certain lines felt like they were lacking a little punch. Especially the end dialogue between greg and the bad villain chap. The fighting seemed a bit stunted with lots of pauses. Good blood though, nice headshot thing at the beginning heh. Locations were fine, and there was no trouble with lighting or anything. Audio was a little dubious at times but still better than a lot of the stuff posted up here. Good story, nice to have a plot to follow for once. And the few special effects in there were ok. Nothing special but passable.
I award you a 4. Yes.

Thanks for the comments Fight. I try to make my movies planned out with a script and cast who I think will do the best job at the part. I am working on getting a new microphone for my next project and also some better NLE programs to help with lighting/filters. But I still think story is the most important element in film today, so it's nice to see someone compliment me in that particular section. Keep the comments coming!
