Man, what a cool flick! I guess the most badass effect in there would have to be the Nightcrawler's morph into air effect. So, let's make a list of cool effects that we'd love to see made available.

1. Night Crawler's morph
2. That glowingh fire effect Jean Grey get's when she goes into over drive. You know, like fire wisping around the body.

Help me out. What else?

ok the Nightcrawler teleportation would be pretty impossible to do with a plugin - the best way to pull that off is a shatter in after effects. however (and there was a topic that i started a few weeks ago about this) it would be nice to have the wispy smoke, which could be put on top of the after effects footage.

The wispy smoke he leaves behind is the most noticeable part of the teleport, and would be a perfect AlamDV plugin. As for making your person actually disappear, that woudl be up to you - but a simple quick dissolve would be easiest (like when you dust a vamp).

I'm looking into it. I'm thinking of using particle playground in AE. Might work. Anyone else have any other ideas?

I'm having a play around with a few concepts. Getting exactly right will be rather tricksy, but a convincing approximation should be possible.

Is there a plug-in anywhere out there that has Wolverine's claws coming slowly out of the fist? If not, that would be awesome! Maybe like just one, so the user could control how many claws and how far/fast they come out.

you can just use the existing wolverine claws and position them as if they were below your skin at the start, then move them so that they're out - then cover the bits that you dont want to see with a mask.
