There is no doubt in my mind that the matrix will blow away all competition in the blockbuster movie category this year. Considering almost everything else is crap, and there are 2 matrix sequels released this year.

Second: I'm ONLY watching it becuase the comic is AWESOME

third: I scepticle, but I'll see it.

fourth: I'll see it, but I'm not expecting much but an old hack doing wanna-be stunts.

fifth: No way, never, 'nuff said.

sixth: I like Jim Carrey, thi might be good.

seventh: I've never liked Pirate movies...

eigth: Again, like Jim Carrey, and I like how thi guy plays him. I see it.

T3 is gonna suck big time I think - they are not even using the Terminator theme which is just silly.

Reloaded is not getting great previews but I'm still hoping it will entertain. X2 was great so I'm happy - seen it 3 times now (twice on the first day).

Matrix Reloaded all the way baby! Got my vote in a flash.

If I voted any other way I'd feel the wrath of my friend who recently bought an $80 rendition of Neo's new costume from Hot Topic. It looks kewl, but....well, I'm having a hard time arguing with his choice come to think of it. Now if only I had money.....

Matrix Reloaded I hope will be good fun, despite the surprisingly negative previews it's getting.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen I'm vaguely looking forward to - Alan Moore is an amazing comic book writer, but I think the adaptation is pretty loose...it'll quite likely lose most of the class.

The Hulk I'm really not sure about - the latest trailer (attached to X2 over here) is much better than anything previously released...but the fact remains that if it wasn't Ang Lee behind the controls I'd have dismissed it a while back.

Pirates of the Caribbean I hope is great, 'cos it has a funky cast and I just want to see a damn good pirate movie!

They're all going to have to go some to beat X2 in the big blockbuster stakes, though. X2 really surprised me with its level of goodness.

Terminator 3 I'd rather not talk about. smile

Matrix will be the biggest. I still think T3 will do very well - but only if it has scenes in it that are amazing & like nothing we've seen before, like in T2. The plot is a basic rehash of T1 & T2.

I don't care about The Hulk. I watched it when I was smaller but it was just a one-trick show really. The film will just probably look at the guy's love life, & make a pretentious comment like people have got to look beneath the surface & not be discriminating.

TLEG looks fun - hmm. Sounds interesting. But could be just another comic book adaptation capitalising on the success of the original. We'll see(A comic I would like to see as a movie is Danger Girl - hilarious, with lots of tongue-in-cheek humour; also Tintin; & Moonshadow)

And no one makes a good pirate movie anymore. They're out of fashion, & there's no way of making them stylized & individual. I'll eat my words if it is any good, though (Don't use Gladiator as an example of a film that was out of fashion, cos around the world it wasn't).

Mel wink

Should really restart the vote with all the big movies on it, but I guess most people would still be looking forward to the Matrix Remade... sorry Reloaded. Maybe even T3 will be a good movie - hehe.

How can you vote for a "better" film when you haven't seen both of them? crazy

Personally I am setting all my hopes this year on Pirates of the Carribean. Johnny Depp is a great actor, as well as Geoffrey Rush, Gore Verbinski has my Respect since "The Ring" and Bruckheimer usually garantees action.
And I just love AWdventurefilms and what I love even more are SKELETONS!!!! YEEEEEAAAAHHH! smile
