I didn't like the song. I couldn't hear a song. There was no sound at all. This movie was exactly like the other one, only with the two guys shooting from their fingers instead of swinging sticks around. Yes.. Not much different at all. You should get some props to use. For sure.

Mecha's right. I hardly see how two guys shooting at eachother with their fingers in a school is entertaining. Can you film anywhere other than at your school? If you can, that might be a start. It's a big world out there. Go explore.

You can get a firewire card for less than 50 bucks. You should get one. That won't limit you as much.

Or you could save your money and just buy a firewire card. Unless your computer sucks.

um. . . .

this really isn't any better than your lightsaber fight. for crying out loud, your end titles were longer than the video itself!

and if you don't want people to tell you how they feel about your work, then DO NOT POST IT ONLINE.

the technical aspects aren't where it suffers (not much, anyway).
it's creatively where this little gem takes the worst beating.
this is one of the most uninspired pieces of video I've seen in a long time.

on a much more minor side note. . . did anyone find it unusual that someone bearing the title of 'Darth' was trying to wipe out the Sith?

I wouldn't bother questioning it, iceman. It's not the only thing that doesn't make sense about these videos.

i am making another film soon, it is going to have a lot of thoughts so i know this movie will be good. anyway, sithformers 3 will soon be out, it is going to be called: sith formers 3 Chris borden lives yet again.

i will not spoil it by telling you the storyline. yes it is at school but it will be filmed on the school field. the light saber fight will be much better, faster swings and well done stunts. who lives to tell their grand sons the story, who dies and goes to hell, find out in Sith Formers 3 coming soon!

(sith formers 2 was the laser fight by the way)

If you really were just posting it to let people see and entertain, wouldn't you just put a link in the forum? confused
But like I've said somewhere before - AlamDV site needs a whole area set aside for "tests only". I've got tests, but I don't want to bore anyone with them. I'll wait for an updated test section to emerge.

Adam.

P.S. I didn't like this boring gumph. Same old, same old. unsure

Wahey!!! There's gonna be a Sith Formers 3! crazy I can't wait...

Look, before you start a franchise, why don't you make sure the original's a good film? Or start again, & call the original Sith Formers a test, & call the next "movie" (which you assert actually has a plot) Sith Formers 1.

For me, a real film with a plot on here is at least 5 minutes. With your 9 seconds or so whatever-you-want-to-call-ems in mind you have a long way to go.

Good luck, & stop trying to dig yourself a grave on here by posting crappy films. As Adam says, can't you post a link to them in forums instead of making us think you've posted an actual movie?

well i am going to have to spoil it for you all now... sad these sith formers movies are suppose to be one big movie but split into 3, this is where i have to spoil it... I am suppose to die in the third one! dang, i said it... well it will be a ong wait since i have to practice my moves over and over to get them perfect! soz i spoiled the film but i had to... hey mell... i know these are not actual movies!

this one big movie split into 3 sucks so far. a fight. a shootout. now you die. show me the plot, please? what exactly is the storyline?
remember, a good movie (or short film) should require no explanation. meaning that people should be able to watch your movie and understand it without you saying a single word.

you didn't spoil a d*mn thing by telling us you were going to die. you merely confirmed what we all thought should happen anyway. . . neutral

Hey guys, come on, give the guy a chance.

If I remember, the Twisted Studios boys first film wasn't very good and look at them now! After "Return of the King" DXM is my must see film of 2003!

Lets give helpful advice if possible, and lets also take that advice if possible.

A filmmaker's number one job is to tell a story. If you think you're telling a story with these "movies", as you call them, you are wrong, and you are not a good filmmaker at all. Iceman said correctly that a good movie should require no explanation, and that's totally true. However, your "movies" don't require an explanation anyway, because there's nothing to explain. What are you going to say? "This guy shot the other guy."? There is ZERO plot in this trilogy of "movies" you have made here.

Why did you even feel that you had to "spoil" the next one for us? If you didn't want to, you shouldn't have, because for one thing, no one cares, and for another thing, no one said anything that would have forced you to! You're making up excuses. It's as if you're not even reading what people are saying to you.

I say: Forget sith formers 3. Don't even do it. And if you DO do it, don't post it on here other than in a link like adam said, because unless in the last 2 weeks your skills have vastly improved, the results are going to be the same. It's like taking a pill twice, and then your doctor tells you it's just a sugar pill, but you keep taking it anyway because you think it helps. It doesn't.

Work on getting something that actually has a decipherable plot and actual actors, and film it somewhere other than in your school.

For a start, that is not true. Not every film contains a story - not all films are about narrative.

How about we cease this rather unpleasant discussion and give Darth_Paul another chance to show us what he can do? Continuing these unpleasantries any further will only lead to ill feelings.

Good luck, Paul, we're only trying to help razz
