Okay, this is going to sound really weird... Is there anyway Someone could make some black Flubber plugins. Actually, it's not even black flubber as much as it is globular 3d-like balls of black liquid... like if globs of oil were in zero gravity...

I would have normally PM'd Kermz about this (as he constructed the regular Flubber plugins) but I haven't seen him post on the forum in quite some time... I just figured that perhaps editing the flubber plugins or the meshes from http://www.the3dstudio.com may be easier than doing it straight from scratch.

Yes, I would make this on my own... if I knew how, and if I had 3d Studio Max... but I have neither. Does anyone have the time to do this? I have force tokens lol.

Thanks

Haha, Ice_Man. It would be fun to throw Flubber at someone, I must say.

Kermz - So the ghost is back, very cool. As for poses and such, just some regular animations (like the other plugins you built) would be absolutely perfect. Thanks for the help and the fast reply, you're a lifesaver.

Is it possible to color correct an existing plug in to acheive this type of result? I have been wondering this for a while cause there is another plug in that I want to use but the color is way wrong.

That's a good question ... probably not as I think it would be complicated. The only way I can think in AlamDV would be to use colour masks.

if you have something like photoshop or paintshop pro you can load the plugin image sequence into it and use the colour correction/colour balance to change it to something closer to your needs, and make it into a new plugin using the plugger.

OK I have done some black flubber still shots and uploaded them for the guys to approve. They took awhile to render due to the black colour, so I will need a bit more time to animate. I am also still getting used to Max 5 ... not all buttons in the same place!!!

Ohhh what a dummy!!!!!!!!!
I did not realise that I had created the plugin using JPGs which of course do nto contain an alpha channel ... until I read the guy's comments on the plug in. I have just done them again and will ask Malone to replace the existing plug in zip file.

So sorry ....
