Contacts in Hollywood Or BBC

I need contacts in Hollywood, BBC or any of the satellite channels.

What I want to do is start my own company making sci fi action movies. I shall make my own movies and give them away for free.

I am really keen to hit the big time. Can anyone give me any advice on this.

Do any of the famous directors like Steven Speilberg visit this forum ?. If so do they have email address ?.

REALLY don't to sound rude but.

If Steven does visit here, would he really give out his email address.

( I wrote to him once ( when I was only 14 ) never heard anything for 6 months, then I got a letter from scotland saying

" Thankyou for you interest in Steven Spielberg he is unable to read personal mail and respond personally, thankyou for you time "

The first thing you need to do before contacting companies, is to have a pilot episode made or a showreel, without those, in their eyes you would be just another wannabe with all the chat ( like us all )

get yourself a good showreel or pilot then think about contacting SCI-FI channel or get interest by contacting Starbust/Starlog magazines.

Hi er-no,

Dark_Paul_Goku speaks the truth. Indeed he did email me personally and asked me to take a peep at his website. I was very impressed by his efforts and talents and wish him all the best for the future.

Keep up the good work all you guys. My advice is follow your heart and chase those dreams. Just like I did when I was a kid.

Darn I am 60 years old and getting too old for this surfing time for bed. biggrin

Hey, George, Steven, good to see I'm not the only bearded director who visits this site.

George, I was going to ask you about having a dinosaur in my next Gladiator film - it is set 2,000 years ago so I think dinosaurs were still alive then. I was thinking of a T-Rex. So do you think you can be in it, George? You can? Great.

Hey Ridley my man ? whatta you doing on this forum darn u son of a gun.

Whats this talk of having a dinosaur in your next Gladiator movie.

You promised we'd work together on the next Indian Jones project.

Maybe we could have a bit where I jump on he back of running TREX.

Spoke to Shaun hes happy to come back to star as my father. Hes much to old to be jumping on and off the backs of dinosaurs though.

How about Indy goes in search of the legendary dinosaur graveyard and gets pursued by the Nazis ?

To reply to original post, this site is good for telling you how to submit stuff to the BBC:

For Hollywood, all I can think of is Trigger Street which is run by Kevin Spacey:

Hi Peter,

How are you ? I am away in austria with my wife enjoying drinking vodka and smoking cigars.

My acting career has gone down the drain since T3. I think it might be something to do with my austrian accent and the way I stare at people and have a morbid look on my face. I have had countless speech therapy sessions but cant rid of weirdo acccent.

Can I star in your next Zombie movie ? I would like to play a role as the terminator zombie. I think this role would be perfectly suited for me and get me back to stardom.

Why do you have a "logo" for a movie you haven't even started making? How long will it be? My guess is about 9 or 10 seconds.
