not it's not. Now they're just making you pay for stuff which should be free. G. Lucas is all about the money now. If it was a starwars geek's dream, it'd be free and there'd be lots more of it. I personally hate the 'jump to hyperspace' idea. It's just another marketing scheme that alienates poor star wars fans like myself cry

If you ask me, GL and 'hyperspace' can go to he!!. I just want some decent star wars movies again.

It is not "all about the money now." If you have ever read George Lucas's biography, which I have, you'd know this. It has never been about the money. I can practically assure you that of all the people that were in charge of that, George Lucas had the least to do with it, especially when it comes down to the choice of cost. He was never good with bookkeeping and money, so he has lots of people do that sort of stuff for him. I'm not saying that it happened independently of him, but that he is not the reason that you have to pay.

I would love free hyperspace... I took some star wars poll because I am a member (not hyperspace) it was about this hyperspace thingy. they asked alot of questions... for all the ones about money i said "no i would not want it because it is too expensive"... I wish it was free... but i guess i can see why they are doing that... um... did anyone else take that poll thingy???

It is not reasonable at all to expect a backstage webcam to be free, for that is Lucas's personal space and private property after all! We are lucky to get anything, how much do other filmmakers offer? Lucas made up the word jedi, so if he wants to charge for jedi.com OF COURSE HE CAN. I would sure as Hell charge for ME.com if I could.

The "Lucas is after money" is a big fat phoney biased myth, no basis in any reality. People just want something for nothing and are prejudiced against successful rich people.
