adobe premiere screen not showing efects applieyed

when i apply a effect it doesnt show up in the little preview box when i wanna preview it. what is happining?

Well if you follow these steps that it should work.

Step 1. Import your video into the video track (1A)
Step 2. Goto the effect/filters box and drag the one you want onto your video in the timeline.
Step 3. To view it go a little bit before the footage that has the effect and press enter.

Tip
You usally have to press enter to render and see all your titles and effects in action. Enter acts as play...but play everything entire. This should solve your problem. Don't worry, when export the effects will be there biggrin

Or just hold the ALT key and click & drag your mouse along the video timeline. It's called 'Scrubbing.'

You click and drag the 'time triangle' just above the video & audio tracks, whilst holding ALT. It's that simple.
