OK lets try this again since my last post was deleted! There are two things I liked about this movie! One is it's HILARIOUS to see little kids say the F word like it's goin outta style. And two Senseless violence is usually great on film.
But not when you make sensless violence look totally sensless! It is a MYSTERY as to why you would make a film like this. But in the next episode (god forbid) try getting an evolving story or something to go with the DOGMA style of your film. OK KIDDIES!
I hope that was not as bad as some of my other posts. Please keep this one here so the children can take this critisism and grow from it.

What exactly is the "mystery"?
Who are these kids?
Why are they in the woods?
Why is the one kid in the tree?
Is that a gun the kid in the tree has?
Why does he need a gun if he has magical powers?
Does the kid on the ground think the word F@#$ is a punctuation mark?
Was that film really only 2:50 long?
Will we ever be the same after veiwing this film? :&rt;

This is a bad movie.
Plus you swear just to try to make the crap look shocking.
And it's not like a tree makes you invisible or anything...
Don't go the way of Darth Paul...

story-plot development. a lot can happen in 3 mins of screen time. in yours, nothing happened.
how old are you guys? u look the same age as the ppl that use my copy of alamdv (14 to 17) and they have made some great stuff (which i should post... when i get the time ppl!
no swearing. sure - tarantino movies are full of swearing, but it's in between all the very good dialogue.
yes, we'll all watch your next one, DESPITE this one - try to have it a little more than some special effects.

To tell you the truth I am seriously starting to believe these kids made this film and got exactly the response they wanted. I think They were trying to make the most vulgar and insane movie this site has ever seen. And thanks to viewers like us they succeeded. GOOD WORK KIDS!

This goes to every1 who f***ing commented bad on this f***cking film, im mean it wasnt that f***ing bad, i mean f***... come on, ive seen f***ing worse. Like the f***ing bio hazard trailer. But who the f*** am i to put down somebody elses f***ing work. So im just going to shut the f*** up now. Man... that film kinda rubbed off on me...
my only comment is dont use the work f*** so much... that and make some more cuts, try a tripod then use that purple effect, it will look smooth and it will make it harder to tell that u cut scenes between them. And i know that your young, but try and go into costumes, a kid with a white shirt on in the wood with a gun doesnt seem very believable... but then again a kid in the woods with a gun doesnt seem that believable either... dah well, keep at it

I told you they wanted to make the stupidest film to ever be uploaded onto the world wide web. And they succeded. You kids are by far the most ignorant filmmakers I have ever had the displeasure of coming in contact with. I fell that I have somehow been infected with a disease of some kind after watched this.
This is like some kind of plague upon the film world. And then you plan on killing us with a second film from this MYSTERY series. I beg of you to please not do this. PLEEEEEEEEEEAASE stop while your ahead. Or should I say quit before you fall farther behind.

What was the mystery?
Well, USE a TRIPOD... especially when you use the effects, everytime that guy dissapeared the camera was in another position, the camera handling was AWFUL.
He kicks the gun away from hin when he is on the ground, then in the next clip the gun is in his hand again. wtf?
I would have given this movie a -1 score, but had to settle with 0
Think through your movie before making it next time.

Firstly, dont say fuck all the time because it's not clever or funny. Secondly use a tripod, try filming it from more than one damn angle and learn how to edit properly. Write a script. A DECENT script, that someone might enjoy watching. The effects were a joke, they hovered around because of the bad camera work but even then they would still look terrible. The bullets were about 10x too big.
I STRONGLY ADVISE PEOPLE TO DOWNLOAD THIS JUST SO THEY CAN SEE HOW NOT TO MAKE A MOVIE THAT YOU'RE GOING TO SHOW TO PEOPLE.

to be honest, i thought this short was very poor...
1. the effects weren't added very well, u should take more time over adding effects, and use more than one effect for each idea, to make it look more realistic...
2. the sounds were the same all the way through, u had background noise that disappeared whenever a sound effect happened, and u could barely hear the 'actors'...
3. invest in a tripod, not only will it make the film look more professional, but it will make the effects look better, and will make it look a lot more realistic...
4. don't try and film everything all in one shot, get an editing program (which u must have) and chop it all up, do lots of angles, make it more dynamic...
Overall a rather poor short, but a lot can be learnt from it and i look forward to ur future work...

I've just watched this and your other film.
It looks like you had making them, that's a good thing but.....
Now I think you could move on to better things, take the advice given in these posts, eg: Tripod, story, angels, less swearing, and better placement of fx's. then I see no reason for you not to get higher votes.
Remember the old saying " Just because you can, doesn't mean you should "
( Meaning, just because he has a camera, PC and fx's software it doesn't mean that you can make films )

I can't remember the last time that I didn't actually like anything about a movie. But this one comes pretty close.
The setting. Nice forest sorta place.
The acting (sorry)
The dialogue (swearing is only big and clever when adults do it)
The mindless script (That really wasn't explained. That's not mysterious, it just detracts from the actual film)
The action (I couldnt tell whether he was firing the gun sometimes)
The sound effects (Didn't match up. Stopping and starting randomly)
The special effects (All over the place)
The camera work (So shakey)
The editing (over drawn, needed to be cut down)
P.s I'm not simply doing this to be malicious. This is my genuine opinion.

I want to know why anyone would actually gave this film more than a zero. I also want to know why anyone would want to waste 2 minutes and 50 seconds of my life watching this mindless shit.

Because, if you fink about it, mindless poo is a part of our lives, and this was a big peice of it. And so that means that we have taken in some mindless poo, and have dealt with it, helping us in lives.
Ps, I (nor Ex! Productions) suggest dealing with mindless poo. Mindless poo is not good. If you do recieve some mindless poo, just accept it and move on.

Okay guys, I could start by beig condescending. you are only 13 (ish) after all.. However, that would be insulting to all the 13 year(ish) olds that populate this board and produce some decent work.
What I will say, is that some people disliked your work, and made their opinions abundantly clear on that in a less than costructive way
hey, you gotta deal with that.. you think George Lucas listened to what people said about him after JAR JAR BINKS ! but others have made some welcome points...
You seemed to have fun making your film.. which as B4etc said, is a good thing as you are not going to be making any profit at it just yet.
The first thing is that you should definately invest in a tripod. Even if you dont plan your movies and shots at all, at least we dont have to watch lousy camerawork.
That said, secondly, plan your movies.. You dont have to go down the script, storyboard, stripboard route but at least some idea of what you are trying to achieve would be nice
thirdly, you dont have to swear as much, as has been pointed out, Tarantino does it in between lines of very good dialogue and you used as many (insert f-word here) as the opening mini car scene of four weddings and a funeral.. which was designed to be a funny scene.
so, go away, plan part two a bit better and show us what you really can achieve.

C'mon guys, give em a break - I don't think they realised how harsly we'd criticise their film
I'm not usually harsh but that was very poor, read what everyone has said - go away - make a new film - submit it, and try and get the guts to post a reply

I know its a bit late to be commenting on this, but i thought i'd just say my bit.
Its probably been covered before, but basically this was the worst footage (no, it wasn't a film, or a trailer, it was just some camera footage) i have ever seen in my entire life. You've Been Framed has more watchable stuff on, and i'm only talking about the fat woman from Coronation Street.
Lets see, the camera-work was just awful, the plot was non-existant, the alamdv fx were laughable, the acting was dire and the compression was horendous.
Not one single thing about this movie was good.
Regarding the "potty-mouth" stuff, I wasn't ofended by the actual swearing, but rather by you yourselves.
You're the kind of kids who sit at the back of a cinema, piss about throughout the entire movie and swear loudly - not because its necessary, but so people can hear you swearing because it makes you feel, somehow, big. Its a bizarre type of attention-seeking method, whereby you derive pleasure from the attention given to you in the form of irritation and mass-hatred. Strangely masochist in a way.
You can afford a DV camera, so that raises you from the status of "under-educated towny pleb-brats" to that of a middle-class kid. You went to a local junior school with quite a lot of people of the local council estate, right? You felt intimidated by their rough edges, so decided to try to blend in by using an unecessary vocabulary of swear words...just so you didn't get your head kicked in at lunch break. Am i warm?
Grow up you little wusses.

I hope you kids are 15 or over. If not, well you can't watch your own movie. Strange enough, Your mothers should soap your mouth. Why did you do that? I am supprised that this even got accepted, with mouths like yours at your age!

look i saw ur movie an i know tht ur young and new to movie making so i wont judge you as hard as sum ppl did. first of all the effects were terrible and the acting was obviosly not planned at all so work on tht by getting a tripod 2 steady the cg. also try planning a bt more to get the desired plot and scenes. finally the language, it was abominal the way you guys talked whatever the movie had was lost wen u guyz dropped the f-bomb movies dont need tht much if any at all so work on tht an think next time b4 a movie like this is submitted
