This is a Traier of a movie that me and my friends are working on.
Its a modernization of Shakespeare's Macbeth.
I know its a little small but Ill get a larger version. The whole movie is not yet done but when it is it will be available on DVD.
The song in the trailer is Finger Elevens Good Times.
Hope you like it.

heh, that movie is looking swee-eet. I wasn't really sure what to expect from the name "Macbeth 3000" wink, but you've done a great job on the teaser and i'm definately wanting to see this. The car action looks great, as does that flip over the fence (was a trampolene involved?). All the ALAM effects look right in place too. I think you may be onto a winner here if your script holds up (and by that I mean how you've translated the play, unless you're going to keep the original style like in the movie of Romeo and Juliet, although that could look REALLY out of place in this film.
4 stars from me.

The quality wasnt at its best so you couldnt see it in that great of detail, but thats still OK.

He obviously jumped through a prop window.

But this is the thing I want to know - how did you do the car hit? Was that just someone who is good at stunts or was there a trick involved?

Oh, and also the flip over fence with the lightsaber - ?

Thanks a lot guys for the good words. To answer some of your questions. We used "candy glass" for the jump, its pritty cool I can tell you how to make it later. For the jump over the fence a trampolene was used, nice job Ben for that one. And at the end that guy really did get hit by that car. He was ok but the windshield got busted up.

And Im in the process of adding a better quality version of this trailer. We were just in a rush to get this one out to you guys.

Any way thanks again and expect more and better trailers for this movie to come out soon.

Peace.

You have very brave stuntman!! Being hit by cars, flipping over a fence and holding on the hood of a car while going very fast is very cool and dangerous! I wish you best of luck with this movie! I can't wait to see it!! biggrin

To start of remember to REMOVE the actuall window you are going to jump through.
Ingredients: 3 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 1 c. white corn syrup, Food coloring
Directions: Combine sugar, water and syrup into heavy saucepan. Set candy thermometer on pan. Stir constantly. When candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees (hard crack), add in the flavoring and food coloring (only a few drops). Stir in and immediately pour into buttered 9x12 inch pan (depending on how thick you want the pieces of candy). Let stand. Mixture will harden. Make sure it is completely hard before going on to next step. Try to get it out in one peace (its very hard). We had to do this 6 times then we built a very weak frame to hold the glass together and then just placed it where the window was.

P.S. Could you guys please vote on this movie. Some ppl have been giving it great reviews on the posts but not voting. We really need the votes. thanks

I don't know about this trailer, it looks first class except the gurning actors when their names are announced and was that a light sabre I saw in there?

Other than those bits pretty damn cool.

Haha awesome.

Having studied Macbeth I can appreciate that it must be pretty difficult to transcribe to a modern day action flick.

I hope that this does come out because it looks very good and varied indeed.

Cheers,
Fight.

The Script refelects a modern day world, and uses the plot/characters from MacBeth to satire the whole "War" thing.

Don't try those stunts at home- my car windshield was smashed when Phil was hit, I nearly fell off the car travelling at high velocity, and Geoff... well let's just say he's seen quite a WINDOW of oppourunity in stunts!! AHAHAHHAHAHAHA.

Ahem. The movie will probably be like 2 hours long, even longer including bloopers and extras on the DVD. Honestly, vote this higher despite any inhibitions... (and BTW.. the cloud blue screen with the "gurning actors" was supposed to be serious, but Geoff put the shots where we were just fooling around... that way we can use the serious ones later {or not..})

Yeah- and there is like a 10-15 minute lightsabre/finale battle in the movie that incorporates many elements of action and cinematography, so look for a cool climax (trust me, it doens't get old).

--Denis---
(The Baldwin dude... and personally, I think I look more like Susan Sarandon when I have my hair up... but that's just me, and I MUST be joking)

Hey guys just to let you know that the final movie is comming along nicely. Hopefully it will be done soon. Pluss as a side project we are going to try to do some moves from Devil May Cry 2 from PS2. If youve ever played the game you know what I mean, basically doing some cool flips high in the air shooting at things and swinging a sword around. Anyway... I still notice that a lot of ppl download this movie yet there arnt to many votes, please vote after youve seen this, Id love for this thing to make #1 on the top ten list.

Very very cool and funny. I can't complain on anything really, cos I'm so looking forward to see the final film.

5 Stars (Even although it's "only" a trailer smile)

EDIT: Hey, what happened? The trailer has changed... sad Too bad, I must say I though the other one was way better. Well, since I have already cast my vote I can't change it, but I would "only" give a 3 to this trailer.

Redhawk- this is the OLD trailer... the new one is still alive on the website, and in the top runnings right here on Fxhome!

This trailer actually only had about 70% of the Macbeth footage, and a bunch of shots and tests we threw together to see how things would look... so in other words... a rating of 3 is an honor!!

Anyone else wondering... the current Macbeth trailer can be found HERE:
http://fxhome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16656

Thanks guys.

Thank you.

Soon enough now... our editor has quit his job and will be focusing on completing the DVD in the New Year. We'll have lots of goodies on the DVD...

Keep checking www.superguncinema.com

(I'm planning a huge re-vamp in the new year as well- I'm just transfering the old content into the new templates... all hand-typed HTML... back to basics... I challenge all users of FrontPage to try learning HTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML and XHTML all at once!!! HA!)
