Please forgive me flip.

well Andreas you are a master at creating titles. Because there really is NO ReASON as to why I should have watched this. The trailer (even though it was a teaser.) Was filled with way too many quick cuts and more dead black space than it should of had. I didn't like it. I am however confident that the full movie might have potential to stir up some good reviews. I'll say a prayer for you and wish you the best.

This wasn't bad, it's just limited by what it is... To me, there's a real shortage of content in most films posted here. I don't know, maybe I've missed the point, but there aren't very many movies (in the traditional sense) being posted. Do any of these trailers and teasers ever get made into full films? I give it a 3 and I agree about the 'fading to black'.

What I don't agree with is the objectionable tone of Matt Pugh.

I understand the fact that its look more then a teaser then a trailer. but this is one by me the best teaser/trailers here.. you do understand what it is about if you lissen to what they say, and I dont reallly think it earns a 1. crazy

anyway thx for the 4 cypher, from YOU it means a helll lot.

Hey Matt,

I'm not trying t start a fight so don't take this the wrong way...pleeeeaaase! biggrin

I've observed your posts & noticed that they have often sounded cocky (as you admitted you have/had a chip on your shoulder). People round here notice the cockiness & it upsets them. It puts them down.

You say you've started being nice now, so a few tips (I'm not being patronising, writers aren't often aware of the effect of what they've written).

Try not to sound sarcastic
I'll say a prayer for you and wish you the best.
This sounds like you mean Andreas hasn't a hope in the world of making a good movie & only divine intervention will help.

Try not to sound cocky, as if you know it all & your opinion is the most valuable one.

Try not to tell people to do things
take your foot out of your rambling mouth
If I told you to that you wouldn't like it, would you?

Importantly, just be aware of what you're writing & try to see how someone else is going to take it. If you think it's going to get up people's skin then delete it.

Peace wink

Good work, nice explosions and costumes. And that Lotus! Mmmmm.

I agree that the fade to black was overlong. Actually, I would recommend not having any fade to blacks/fade to whites as you are advertising an action movie and they interfered with the pace of the action.

One more suggestion, I did come away with the wish to see the movie but I did not get any idea of the plot. You could have had a Hollywood sounding voice giving a commentary, or descriptive text instead of the star titles (good titles by the way cool )

One thing made me laugh, but it was unintentional! When that guy is dressing, preparing or something, you focus on his crotch in one cut! Hehehehe razz

Yeap Andreas is gay... wink
Anyways, As your friend I have to admitt that I do not understand what it is about because I can't hear what they are saying smile

And I also have to say this... It's good to have guys like MATT on a forum, they may be harsch.. But it makes you work harder on the next project. I remember Mechaforce beeing realy harsh on me when I showed my first movies.
And I want to thank him for that.

I liked many of the shots / camera angles.
The titles look cool too.
I recognize the music from Freeplay. I used the
same song in project.
I might have picked different music for this trailer though.

Quite a good trailer, the film should be good from this.

It reminded me of a straight to video action trailer. You know the one, when you rent Steven Seagal's latest fat man hitting people movie and there's a trailer to some low budget actioner that's got a couple of washed up stars who were quite popular in the eighties playing special forces guys who have to get on a train to stop terrorists with a nuclear bomb... Well I thought that anyway.

question: that explosion near the end...is it real? If not, the masking on that is fantastic.

Andreas I did watch your trailer. This is how I came up with the information to vote on it. I didn't post a review without watching the film, so don't worry about that.

PEACE OUT

Oh yeah and I told Lee to take his foot out of his mouth becuase he was speaking of things he didn't understand. It was a form of expression. wink

Matt Pugh, I do think you vote unfair. thinkin about that you vote a 5 on James bond Die today... and a 1 star at mine.

V6: Im not gay, why do everyone sais that neutral It's not that bad is it? and why really, I think it got most of what other trailers got here but better editing.

Mel: Yeah, the fade 2 black was 2 long. And I do want a voice talkin in the background, but who can speak like that, any other not cool voice would actully sound stupid.

Lee Charlish: This is gonna be a full movie. when my actors get time, thats the problem for me making movies, aint got any actors that actully want to do a movie.

rmendoza: the song is from freeplay.

Cypher: its sollthars expolotion used in aftereffects.

Thats about it. thx for the time looking on it.

Andreas I really have nor the time or the patients to even go into a full out war with you over this. I didn't like the movie so I gave it a 1 or whatever and that's that. Don't think I didn't vote fair becuase I liked DIE TODAY. (which I did like becuase of it's hilarious Idea, and becuase I have always wanted to see bond die.) Just suck it up and take in the votes. Many others loved your work and voted high on it. Just becuase I didn't doesn't mean it's not fair. So don't even go there with me.

PEACE OUT

yes! finally some of my work is in ur film biggrin dude the trailer is cool. Just need to work on the bullet hits.
Hey Iceman if u want to duplicate such a roto to keep the motionblur in tact do this. This is what i did in AE.
Just get the footage, get the explosion in, do some color correcting, fake the shadows. Now mask out the actor, using the mask tool. ( i should have done it in combustion sad ) now use this as a black and white matte. Now Nest this composition on another comp and give it the revisionfx motionblur plugin, so it faux the motion blur edges. Now just use this as a matte. Now i just added some ripples and a brightness change to get the final shot. I was thinking of adding a damaged floor afterwords. But i had a very basic (damn i spell bad) mask.

Hey and andreas when will ya be on msn?
