This is the trailer to our 20 minute movie. The plot is as follows: The Minodorians(good guys), led by General Hendors, are defending their empire against The Kahn(bad guys), led by Baron Kahn. There is a large war going on. Meanwhile, Rutrick(Baron Kahns right hand man) is trying to find an all powerful sword to conquer both empires. Its up to Vindell and his apprentice Alex to stop him.

You rock at lasers, but your sword choreography is a little slow.

2 things to make your movie awesome:

Add scorch marks on the ground after an explosion goes off, and use slowed down explosions if they are large. If you already did in this preview, you might need to slow- 'em down more. the close-up laser ones were fine, though.

Secondly: Change the color of your movie, or do it some more if you already did. Kick the contrast up and such.

This was soooo chedder it was great! I really liked it and I'm not entirely sure why. The text was difficult to read, the music wasn't loud enough, there weren't any gals in it but it was good fun to watch.
Good work!

ok dude

Now before i start i thought that your trailer was really really good, but there are a few details that i'm wondering about.\
How come all of the fight scenes look just about the same exact thing just with different actors, personaly i think that you should have given each of the what did it seem like 10 or 15 different sword battles their own character. EX. Different locations, different color swords, or just different swords all togather.

They are right though you really do rock at lasers but there is another thing in the large field battle scene how come on the ground after the explosions there are no marking of it ever occuring like charred marks on the ground or small parts of the ground stil on fire you know something to show that there was really an explosion there.

Other than that i really did like it too much text though
but hey i want to see the full film
great job on the trailer cool biggrin

about the sword battles. they are all very similair because it was basically me and my friends choreographing them so i guess that we weren't very diverse with the moves. plus we filmed this in two days at a persons house, so we had very limited location to choose from thats why i changed some of the colors in some scenes. but since i have posted this trailer i have sped up the fight scenes in the real movie. about the explosions, i forgot about the scorch marks, i will make sure to use them in the film though.

I enjoyed watching this one. Although there was no plot it's not like it necessarily needed one. I was very impressed by your effects work. Very top notch. I could tell that you worked hard on them. Was it just you two guys filming? It was good if it was just a two man team.
