Hey folks, short comments but it tells everything!
I'm very happy you liked my short logo animation!
On every video, picture is as important as the sound.
I've worked hard on sound effects and I'm proud of the result.
Thank you everyone!

I think what I'll do is to cut the part between when the logo is formed and when Twistar Media appears. What do you think?

I think what impressed me was the design, i've seen films copy the universal logo idea etc.
but yours was a new original idea. top marks for that.

Agree with B4 - original and originality is as important as skill with these things.
Where did you get the SoundFX from?

It has one problem. The music crossover does not work. You're using two pieces and they don't cross well. I'd change that. Apart from that, real nice.

I know... I've just cut 4 seconds from the original version and the link was harder to do, but I think it is okay now.
And it's much better without the 4sec still star with only lens flares moving!

hi this is zaz
i think that the sounds (the "ice sounds") at the beginning are useless. The music is good enough, why put something else ? They don't "stick" whith the movments of the forms.
The end is useless too. You should stop the animation when the star is formed and the name appears. Then the image should get darker and darker (in french : fondu au noir). In your movie, i found the sound bad and the last "explosion" useless. And what does it means ? Your logo is being destroyed by soething or what ? You should keep it entirely and stable, better for your image !
hope i help you

Lots of modifications though!
Okay I understand what you mean... what'll make it more profesionnal.
I'll keep that logo for few months then here's what I'll do:
- Try to fix the text to make it more white
- Remove some sound effects, work on those icy sounds or maybe removing them
- Instead of making the crystal destroy, fade out is more profesionnal
- Work on AlamDV effects (hope new magic ones will come)
Thank you zazouzanzi, you're the first to tell me what I wanted to know since the begginning. I like comments, but suggestions was the main goal. Once new logo is done and my own music recorded, I'll post it here. Hey you have great ideas. Thanks!! +1

what ever you do, dont take of the ice sounds. they are what makes the whole particales coming down and the ice logo forming together, stick. And why couldnt the forms stick? the fact that this is "the cinema" means that reality of science isnt exactly the the main thing. its how you will try and make something very unrealistic, realistic. and of course in a big budgeted way
I mean without that sound, its just gonna be plain. the fact you have got sound effects to illterate what is happening, works really well. Its like the old dolby logo effects for like the terminator 2 movie, it rules like hell. I seriously dont think that the sound effects are the problem.
What you could maybe do, is as said make the text whiter, if not white. The rainbow tint is ok, but i think it might look nice with a sharpe edge to it. also that bit of smoke that comes up as the aura, as it were. looks a little funny. maybe you could replace it with something with like a flash. or maybe even leave it out.
But what ever you do, i would leave the ice sounds in. there nice. i tell u what leave all the sounds in

Cool we have a debate here...
Be happy, I've made some tests, and I'm not as professionnal as the ones who make the Universal Studios logo. Yes I can be more ambitious, but the current logo really represent me and what I do. Innovative, perfectionnism, unreal in a way... well, a logo must reflect what I am. Sorry Zazouzanzi, thank you very much for the suggestions but Coldfuse is right!
Worked enough on that, I'll start working on movies again! I don't care about those five 3-stars rating, I can't do anything more unless I follow some 3D courses. Though, I never posted any movies here... hehe, get ready in the next weeks!
Thanks everyone, I highly appreciate your comments and suggestions!

hi this is zaz
no problems !
Ideas from coldfuse sounds great too ! Maybe if you just work more on these icy sounds it'll be better and more integrated with the forms.
The music is from you ? If this is the case, bravo, coz it sounds very good !

I've heard your suggestions... is it better?
If it is, I'll render the new animation and work on the AlamDV effects.
Don't worry about the lighting and sunshine effects on crystal. I'll work on it when I'll redo the animated version in 3dsmax.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a new possible animation? (PS: I prefer fade out at the end)
Indie film maker, that'll be a pleasure to help you. Just email me at email@example.com

Hi this is zaz
he i think Coldfuse is gonna hate me !
i prefer the first version, coz it's more simple, and a logo have to be simple, to be recognized immediatly !
The stars background seems to be ok, but the typo of Twistar Media is "too much" ! The icy stars is 3D, and it looks great. Let the typo be simple and more readable, don't put any 3D on it ! Even if you move it in 3D, don't put any thickness on it !
The glow around the icy star look strange, but i read that you 're going to change it, so i'm waiting.
Remember : go to simplicity !!!!
