The teaser-trailer for the upcoming FanFilm Star Wars: Smugglers Redemption.

Smugglers Redemption will be the second movie I have made. I have learned much since my last movie, Star Wars: Apprentice (which is also on the cinema here). I'm not going to reveal the plot yet, so just enjoy the teaser.

Questions & Comments welcome.

Its really too short to get an idea of the story. However, great costumes and weapons. Pay closer attention to your rotoscoping! smile (ie: The guy with the blue saber, the blank spot. Also try using a little bigger glow.)
It looks great, can't wait to see the final film.

P.S. The sound is great too. biggrin

Cheers,

Paul cool

thanks for the critique. I'll be sure to work on the sabers next time.

Oh, and this is a teaser-trailer, so it's not suppose to give away much of the story biggrin

Hey what were those guns that the guy had? Are they just water pistols spray-painted black?

The guns that they had were Star Wars Droid Blasters made by kenner. The only thing I had to paint was the orange cap on the front.

That is a NICE Vader costume. How much was it and where can I get one? Also nice particle effect on that TIE fighter. My only woe is that the jedi has F***ing sun glasses! Whats up with that? Nice so far tho.

Lol, yeah the jedi does have sunglasses. I personally like the look, although I know a lot of people don't. (But hey, it's my movie, so if you don't like it, too bad twisted )

The vader costume is pretty expensive. I bought most of the stuff through a prop dealer (you can PM me if you want more info).

The particles and stuff were all done with Blender3d. I like the program (mainly because it's free).

I don't know the settings for the particles offhand. I know there are a bunch of cool Blender particle explosions and stuff at this website: http://www.centralsource.com/blender/effects.htm

I expect to have the whole film uploaded onto my website by mid-september.
