FXhome Server Upgrade
As the community has grown we have realised that our current server is not going to withstand the pounding it gets from FXhome users. We have recently invested in a much more powerful system that is based in America and Malone is currently setting it up to run FXhome. Although we will do our best to make sure this doesn't effect your FXhome experience, there may be a few moments of down-time over the next month. Once the new server is running we should be set for the community to explode when the new applications are released.

Chromanator Development
Work has continued on Chromanator and for the first time we can bring you an image of the Picture Interface in action! This is where you key your movies and, as you can see, it is split into 3 stages Key, Colour and Effects. These stages allow you to make specific changes to your image to create a better matte and also give you a selection of grading tools to make sure your keyed image fits perfectly with its surrounding. More images should appear soon and you will be happy to note that beta testing will start this month.

Please feel free to reply with questions about the new interface on the Chromanator thread.

At last about the server, it's been a little slow smile hope it all goes well upgrading and everything...

Chromanator is looking good, looks fairly easy to use and i hope it achieves some good effects biggrin

i'm interested in chromanator to bluescreen some of my 3D models into realistic environments...

So is chromanator able to composite you into a 3d environment if for example, you filmed yourself against some wallpaper. I've never got the hang of all this compositing stuff.

eek ooohh... its.. so... prettyful... ahhh...

But seriously you guys are doing a GREAT job, be it with the website or the creation of the new programs. I litterally cannot wait for chromonator, it is the first on my list of "wantingness". Keep up the good work, and try as hard as you can to make chromonator as good as it can be, even if it takes until Christmas. Tomorrow would be a more favorable release date wink but im thinking thats a "no". biggrin

If u had a decent, well lit, blue/green wallpaper, then yes...

U could make urself a 3d environment, or get a photo or movie, and put it where all the blue is, basically...
